Bzzagent.com gives members (agents) free products and services and pays them to share their opinions with family, friends, on their blog, on forums, etc. Agents don’t get paid but keep the products they reviewed. They also receive special offers and discounts for themselves and their friends.

AssociatedContent.com pays $3 – $20 for reviews and articles. Epinions.com is a site where reviewers are paid based on the amount of views they receive. If you own a blog that has been active for at least 3 months, you can earn extra cash by reviewing products and services within blog posts. Companies like payperpost.com, smorty.com, blogitive.com and blogsvertise.com pay you a fixed amount of money to discuss or mention advertiser products within your blog.

Who pays for the lavish locations the apple store provides? The consumer, that is who! We have started a campaign to shed some light on why apple computer repairs are so expensive!

We are a family run apple service center. We were attacked by apple, because of the current issues with their computers. The logic boards have an inherent defect. We saw many school kids, upset because their laptop was malfunctioning. Apple accused us of lying and said there was a software not a hardware issue.

Since we were correct, we went out and spent $100,000.00 on the proper equipment to do logic board repairs. Like clockwork we get sent apple computers to fix that the apple stores has said needed a refurbished g5 apple logic board!

So What Is BANS?

BANS stands for build a niche store and is a software script that allows you to make money off ebay as an ebay affiliate.

It has certainly been one of my favourite tools to build niche web stores online. The reason being it is very easy to use and you never have to worry about content on your website since it pulls feeds from ebay auctions constantly. That means you also don’t need to worry about contantly updating new content for your website.

Ebay recently transitioned to their own in house affiliate program and BANS has made the necessary code adjustments. Since ebay sells just about anything under the sun from baby strollers to cars and motorcycles, you can build almost unlimited niches with your websites.

Since everyone online knows about ebay and knows there are cheap items for sell on ebay, it is very sell for buyers to click through on your ebay auction listings and buy on ebay.

There is a 30 day tracking cookie for ebay so visitors you refer can often return days later and buy something off ebay and you still get the commission. Another weird thing I noticed with the ebay affiliate program is that visitors you refer to ebay may not necessarily buy what you are recommending.

For example, if you refer visitors from your baby strollers BANS site to ebay, I noticed some visitors actually purchased other unrelated stuff such as laptops, an air purifier etc. I think it is ok though since I get commission on those purchases as well.

If the visitor you referred from your BANS website is new to ebay, you can also get paid if he/she sign up as a new user and bids on an item. The amount will depend on the ebay quality score, a new rule set by ebay.

There are a variety of templates to choose from in BANS and there is also an active members forums where you can ask questions and even get others to help you for a fee. It isn’t terribly difficult to setup BANS since the layout, content and navigation are point and click.

If you have an existing content website, then BANS can be a complement to your website. You can attach a BANS store to your website and recommend items to your visitors.

It’s a win win situation since your visitors can find cheap deals on ebay and you earn commission as well.

BANS provides another form of monetization for your website other than Google adsense and I have to say it pays better as well.

Soft Selling vs Hard Selling

Some marketers still use the hard selling approach. That is, being a total sales person and using classic sales techniques to sell. Infomercials on TV can be thought of as an example of hard selling. They virtually shout at you to buy their product.

Soft selling is much more subtle, toned down and much less direct, but can often be much more powerful. But aside from mentioning the advantages, you should also point out any minor flaw of the product. This will increase the reader’s trust on you and will make them believe you more when you tell them the good sides.

Making people feel as if they are missing out on something great by not buying a product is one of the best ways to convert a sale when writing website reviews.

2 Types of Products to Review

There are generally two types of products you can review on your site:

1) Your Own Product

Selling your own product by offering a website review can be the toughest strategy to undertake. You may have set up an exterior second site to send people to your main site.

This second site can be a review type site that touts the benefits of your product. You will have a huge advantage over other people who review your product, as you know all about the product so can provide inside information.

Many webmasters write website reviews without even buying the product - something that puts them in a less desirable position when it comes to creating unique and informative content that entices people to buy.

2) Someone Else’s Product

Reviewing someone else’s product is what most people do online. This is an effective affiliate marketing strategy and requires some research to undertake.

Ideally, you should buy the product before reviewing it, particularly if it is an information product like an e-book or video series.

That way you will have a total understanding of the particular product and will be in a better position to promote it using website reviews… without just rehashing the seller’s sales page points.

Persuasion

If you like your air conditioning soundless and your service staff in matching uniforms, then head down to Funan IT mall, where the crown prince, Challenger, sits atop the last floor in all its computer and gadgetry grandeur. This is a refined version of Sim Lim, with fancy holding areas and well labelled enclosures with dizzying displays. Prices here are marginally more expensive but membership is available for those interested in saving up to and over 10% of the retail price.

There are more stores abound in Singapore, and searching for one isn’t hard at all. However, if you are looking for variety and security in your purchases, I would recommend the aforementioned places.
